A place for your website. Webhosting is when a company has your website on their sever. What they do is give you space to put the files for your website and a place for your email to go. There are other services like FTP, subdomains, email lists, parked domains and DNS services, but this is the basic idea. Make sure you get the best web hosting.

Web Design

What do you want your site to look like? Web Designers are the ones who actually create your website. Good designers use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to hold all the visual design information and leave the words and pictures (content) on the actual pages. You can buy a website template or get someone to design a website.
